Ah, An Ancient Dream Come True At Last!

Updated: Feb 2

God made me travel the world so much

That I can’t now say where I’m from as such.

Much of His world have I been,

Far-flung lands have I seen.

Across His vast world He made me roam.

So that to me, all places now seem equally home.

I feel at home now just everywhere

Although I have no home anywhere.

My home I regard all Earth to be,

All of Earth's equally precious to me.

This tiny dot in the huge Milky Way,

The whole of it is my home, I say.

It knows no boundaries men have made,

Blood-drenched fences that they have laid.

Lines that mere mortals have drawn,

And Earth’s fair face marred and torn.

God did none of this, you well know,

It’s human handiwork, entirely so.

A day may come when God will erase

These lines and bring in a new phase

Of the Earth’s story, when it might be

That all Earth becomes one country.

And when these barriers will be no more

Earth will return to as it was before,

When God designed it and made it be,

Aeons before He created humanity,

When it will regain its original face,

Before it was scarred by the human race,

Once again, a boundaryless realm vast.

Ah, an ancient dream come true at last!
