All Actors in a Play The One Alone Performs

Maybe it is, but I don’t really know,

That this world is merely a show,

Where The One as many does appear,

As all beings and things, far and near,

And so, all that they seem to do,

And all that they experience too,

Is experienced, and also done,

By none other than The One,

Each of them doing just what

They’re made to, like a robot,

By The One acting through all these,

Doing what it wants Itself to please.

If things in the world are truly this way,

Then one might be able to firmly say

That happenings here of every sort

Are all by The One Itself wrought,

All doings here done by The One,

Other than whom there is no one,

For all things and beings that we see

Who appear to be engaged in activity

Are The One appearing in diverse forms,

Actors in a play The One alone performs.

This poem offers a profound glimpse into life’s harsh truths, revealing the fleeting nature of joy and the certainty of struggle. It portrays existence as a blend of beauty and hardship, capturing the essence of the human journey.

Once again...hats off to the very creative poet !
