Make My Heart Your Home

You’ve no place to lay Your head,

No soft pillow, no warm bed,

So, make Your home in my heart,

And from there please never depart,

Residing therein forever more,

As it once was, long before,

When as a child we first met,

That I’m sure You’ll never forget,

When You came to stay with me,

Oh once again please let it be!

This my request I know You’ll heed,

I’m sure You will graciously concede

In my heart’s home again to dwell.

Ah, only then can I say “All is well!”
