It isn’t that I really pine to stay,
Nor do I beg to be taken away.
Keep me here as long as You will,
But this one request please fulfill:
Hold me close to You through it all,
And when from here me You recall
Let me in Your bosom so deep
Rest in eternal peaceful sleep.
